A cyber attack on Defence Construction Canada’s IT systems has left the organization with operational disruptions including ongoing issues with procurement and other projects. The crown corporation, which handles infrastructure and environmental projects for the Canadian government, confirmed the incident and announced that an investigation has already been completed.
DCC officials have yet to disclose any further details about the attack but they have stated their Cyber Incident Response Team is now working on fully restoring their IT systems. The corporation is relying on their business continuity plan to ensure that all business functions are running according to schedule.
